I can add a couple of more John Paxton's. My Grandmother (Sarah Rebecca Paxton Cockfield) had a brother John A. Paxton born 1859 in Iowa (that is all I know about him). She was born Boone, Iowa. Her Father Thomas Paxton born 28 Mar 1832 in Ohio had a brother John B. Paxton born Harrison Ohio 13 Mar 1828 (Thomas & John's Father and Mother were William August Paxton born Washington Co. Pa. and Rebecca Martha Barcroft born Baltimore Co., Maryland I believe William Paxton had a brother John Paxton born 7 Apr., 1781 in Marsh Creek, York, Pa.
