I'm Tina Paxton, searching for my g-g-grandparents. My grandfather was Frank E. Paxton, born Aspen, CO in 1910. His parents were Livius C. Paxton and Ruby L. Herman. I have no idea who Livius' parents were. Livius immigrated to the US from English Canada in 1875 (where he was born in 1861). According to his naturalization papers, he entered the US at Huron, Dakota Territory. I was recently provided with additional information that indicates that he was in Iowa in the 1880 census and likely where he met Ruby. According to his homestead papers, Livius and Ruby settled on the homestead in Potter County, South Dakota, in 1892 but were enumerated in the 1885 Lincoln County, South Dakota census. Since Livius was 14 years old in 1875, I've looked for clues to his parents immigrating with him but haven't found them, thus far. If anyone has any information that can help me find Livius' parents, I'd be very appreciative. Tina
