Stamberger 1933-2003 Wilma Joan Stamberger, 70, of Otterville, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003, at Columbia Regional Hospital. She was born Oct. 21, 1933, in Sedalia, a daughter of William Robert and Martha Henderson Paxton. In 1964, she was married to Henry Stamberger, who died April 24, 2003. Mrs. Stamberger was a homemaker. She loved collecting and reading cookbooks. She enjoyed baking and spending time with her family. Surviving are a daughter, Kathy Jean Showman, of Sedalia; a son, Willie Jackson, of Boonville; three stepdaughters, Dianna Lutjen, Vicky Kamphefner and Virginia Esser, all of Sedalia; two brothers, Daniel Paxton, of Lakewood, Calif., and Bill Paxton, of Sedalia; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The body was cremated. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Otterville, with Capt. Dale Brandenburg officiating.
