Shirley, Appreciated your post. I have been looking for any information about my gg grandfather, John Paxton b. 1825ish West Virginia. I have looked into the data that is online concerning Abner but have not found a connection yet. If you have West Virginia information I would love to hear from you. My information is that John Paxton moved from Va. to W. Va. as well and his father ultimately died there. When you mentioned first name comparisons that were similiar my curiousity was piqued. I have the book by Roscoe, WV Paxtons, but have not been able to find a fit yet to my John Paxton. Do you have other data from WV that may be helpful? Jan Bultema kbultema@sbcglobal.net
