She was born May 24, 1911 in Kanosh, UT, to Harvey McDonald and Mary Ida Bird Cummings. She married Franklin Taft Paxton June 3, 1933. Maurine is survived by her son, Frank Paxton of Kanosh, UT; daughter, Tanya Paxton of St. George, UT; granddaughter, Heidi Paxton Gertsch (Zane); step-grandchildren, Casey (Cami) Peterson; DeEtte (Justin) Englebright; sister, Cleo Carling of Fillmore, UT. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Clara Clothier; brothers, Don, Wayne, Orrin and Ferron Cummings. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 14, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kanosh LDS Ward, Kanosh, UT. A visitation will be held 11 to 12:30 at the church prior to the funeral.
