Mrs. Miller drove a cab for Madigan Cab Co. in Lincoln in the 1950's and 60's. She was born Nov. 23, 1912, at rural LaFontaine, Ind., a daughter of Arthur and Lula Muller McFarland. She married Harold J. Paxton. He preceded her in death. She married Jacob Frederick "Fred" Miller Oct. 12, 1946, in Peoria. He also preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, Gene Paxton of Grand Rapids; one brother, Charles McFarland of Spokane, Wash., three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A stepson, a brother, a sister and a half-brother preceded her in death. Mrs. Miller's private graveside service will be Wednesday at Zion Cemetery. Visistation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
