Hi, My great-grand mother was a Paxton by birth. I do not have the long narrow feet, but do have the second toe on each foot longer then the big toe. My dad (Paxton was his grandmother) has the same and so do some of my children. We were always told it was a sign of intelligence, but it is the toe that always gets stepped on or stubbed. Don't know if it a problem for anyone else or just our little bump in the road. We all have long narrow feet that are a pain to get shoes for & the same noses & bad ears. I had to have mine fixed as did my Dad & his Dad. My father William Paxton b Birkenhead, England 1926 was in hospital when he died & he told us not to visit him on Monday. He died that day. I have always wondered if you know you are going to die. My paternal line is Paxton going back to mid 1800's Ontario Canada thus far (and census indication that origins are Scotland). As for swimming....no problem there, we all swim just fine and enjoy doing so. Feet. not particularly narrow but certainly larger than "average". Second toes not longer than big toe.
