Hello All, and Happy New year! I was wondering if anyone who may be new to this list might have mention of any Paxton’s in Danville Illinois, or Danville Indiana. Also, I have a David P Paxton and his wife Sarah (or Serena?) from Champaign St. Joseph Township, Illinois. This is my brick wall, so if anyone knows anything, it would be awesome. Here is what I have James S. Paxton b 1/1/1860 and Lousia b April 1873(Who is a second wife, I don’t know the first) Chauncey Paxton (from first marriage) 7/2/1885 Chauncey married Blanche Fields Sometime before 1907. They had 5 children: Lowell J (my grandfather), Paul, Mildred (who died as an infant), Irene (also died as an infant) and Lloyd Donald. Chauncey died in 1923, and Blanche re-married Lee Keller. Guy G. Paxton (from first marriage) 5/27/1887 Ralf Paxton (from first marriage) 6/24/1889 James and Louisa’s marriage was 1895 children are: Henry b july 1896 Loreen b August 1898 James’s parents are David P (b 1837) and Sara or Serena. (b 1837) both were born in Indiana, however I believe they may have parents born in VA. Children are: James S. 1/1/1860 John W. B 1863 Sara E b 1867 Charles G b 1871 Effie B b 1872 Samuel O 1874 If anyone knows any connection here, it would be awesome. Thanks! Tamara Hancock
