I have a Jean Jane Paxton that was raised in that area in Va. She was the daughter of Thomas Paxton and Elizabeth McClung. My Thomas had a sister by the name of Sarah. The Elizabeth Paxton a da. of John(their brother) married Maj. Samuel Houston, which they had Gen. Samuel (Sam) Houston. Let me know if this could be your Sarah.
