James Paxton married May Bell, had 5 children and their particulars are: James Paxton, born circa 1798 in Dunbar, East Lothian, Scotland. He married May Bell 27 Nov 1821 in Dunbar. He died 24 May 1871. His parents were Sandilands Paxton and May Fairbairn. May Bell was born 1 Nov 1795 in Innerwick, East Lothian. She died 26 Aug 1871 in Innerwick. Her parents were James Bell & Alison McKree Their five children were: Agnes Paxton, born 17 Jan 1832 in Meikle Pinkerton, Dunbar, East Lothian, Scotland. She died 10 Feb 1910. Mary Paxton, born 10 Sep 1825 in Meikle Pinkerton, Dunbar, East Lothian, Scotland. She died 24 Oct 1906. Peter Paxton, born 8 Aug 1827 in Meikle Pinkerton, Dunbar, East Lothian, Scotland.
