The Paxton book calls this a "lost Paxton" but records the marriage as taking place in Rockbridge County 4-5-1798 by the Rev. Samuel Houston. A marriage between Hannah Paxton and John Moore also is recorded on Oct. 6, 1997 by Rev. John Young.
