There has been much discussion of the various Paxton resources lately. For the newcomers out there, Frank Paxton was working on an updated version of the McClung book (1903) on the Paxtons. Frank was adding other lines as well. Unfortunately Frank passed away unexpectedly a couple of years ago just as the book was getting ready to be published. A number of problems led the family to switch publishers and Frank's wife was doing the final editing, but that was the last I heard (about a year ago). My attempts to contact the publisher have failed. My last communication was with Frank's daughter-in-law who was supposed to forward my letter to Frank's wife. I have not gotten any feedback, so I do not know the status of the book. If anyone else out there has updated information, please let us know! Wanda
