It's been a while since I posted my Paxtons, and since we have some new members, this seems like as good a time as any. Samuel Paxton was married in Franklin Co. OH in 1823 to Amy Wilcox, daughter of Francis Wilcox. The marriage application I copied years ago stated that Samuel's father was dead, his mother gave her permission for the marriage. Unfortunately neither parent was named, and many of us have been looking for more years than we care to think about for more information on his family. Samuel had brothers John & James, and a sister Mary that we know of. Samuel died in 1849 in Franklin Co., Amy married Samuel's brother James later on, 1850 I believe, and that marriage later ended in divorce. Anyone else struggling with this family? Alice Allen
