Hi. I am struggleing with this family I THINK. I have a Mary Paxton that married a James H. Johnson in Knox County, Ohio in 1823. Can this be the Mary that had a brother Samuel. She named a son Samuel P. Johnson. The family was in Fairfield County in 1850. Daughter Jane (Jennie) is my great grandmother. She was born about 1844 to James and Mary Paxton Johnson. Mary was supposedly born in Pennsylvania about 1804. We think she was the daughter of a Samuel Paxton who also had a son named Samuel, but have no hard proof. This is my last line that is giving me all kinds of trouble. Do you have any information???????
