I have a ggg-gm with no known ancestors. Miss Sarah Paxton was born 1810 VA. By 1830 she was in Smithfield/Mt Pleasant, Jefferson Co., Ohio married to David DeYARMON. My line goes from their eldest daughter, Mary Jane m/George HAYNES b/1829 in Waddesdon, Buckingham England. There is a James Paxton in the same area and time frame m/Nancy. He was also b/VA. Amos Paxton b/VA, came through the area of Jefferson Co. He and David DeYARMON traveled into Iowa. Amos remained there and married with family. After the first wife of Amos died; he married David's sister Sarah DeYARMON. There are a large number of Paxtons in Rockbridge and Loudon Co., Va; but nothing for any connections. TIA Audrey
