William PAXTON b. abt. 1777 in Baltimore, MD, married Ruth SELMAN on July 23, 1802, in Frederick County, MD. He may have lived in Emmitsburg. The SELMANs came from Anne Arundel County and seem to be well documented. Not so for William PAXTON and his ancestors. William's father may have been Samuel PAXTON and his mother Mary FERGUSON, both of Frederick County, I am trying to confirm this and find other ancestors of William. Thanks: Bill [email protected]
