Hi, According to the booklet published by the late Judge W.P.Houston,there was 1Thoomas Paxton,son(2)John marriedmSarah Walker and had 16(!!!) children, the 5th one being Sarah Paxton who married John Cowan. This John was born in 1747, died 1832..don't know if this will help but hope so. Good luck.
