Hello! All New Subscribers and Fellow Paxton Researchers, I'm interested in finding information on an Aaron Paxton who was born in PA around July 1817. He was a Pennsylvania born child per the census registers. He married Hannah Marie Group on March 5, 1840. They had 10 children born in Adams County, PA., where he made a living farming. I'm looking for any possible leads to his parents or other kin in the PA area at around this time frame. He and his family are listed on the Menallen Twp., Adams County Census for 1850, 1860, 1870, and 1880. He died November 19, 1886 and was buried at Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Adams County, PA. His wife Hannah died July 29, 1888 and buried at his side at Mt. Tabor. I've researched Cumberland , Perry and Adams County for information that might lead me to Aaron's parents. All leads to this point have turned up a dead end. I'm turning to other Counties in hope of maybe running into someone on the Paxton line that might have an Aaron attached to it. I have 5 Aaron Paxsons, but the only one even close to yours is Aaron P. Paxson, born about 1816, but I have his wife as Sarah Ann Pickering, so I don't think this is yours. There are lots of Paxsons in Bucks County, Pa., so you might try there. Judy
