Hello list, I am looking for the family of Jane Gibson from Cavan Co., Ireland, who married Nathaniel Paxton (No. 122-York Co., PA.). The Paxton book says, "Three brothers came with her (from Ireland and)....Two of them entered Braddock's army......." I believe I read that there was also a Paxton in Braddock's army--I have to re-read to find out his name. I actually have a bit more information about the Gibson's--2 sisters also came over at the same time. (Personal papers) But thought if I had the brothers first names it would be easier to track them down in Ireland--I hope! My question: Does anyone have any information about Braddock's army? Was this a unit in the Revolutionary War? I have, so far, drawn a blank in my looking on the web for it. I would like to try to get the Gibson brothers first names. Thank you. Sue
