He was 69. Mr. Paxton was born in Anderson, S.C., and lived in LaFeria for two years. He was a former resident of Pine Bluff, Ark., and lived in Fort Worth for 17 years. Mr. Paxton served in the Army for 27 years before retiring in 1967. He was a veteran of World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. After his retirement, Mr. Paxton worked in solid waste management for several years. His wife, Mavis Paxton of LaFeria, survives. Area survivors include two daughters, Kristy Ingram of Fort Worth and Ann Crow of Richardson; and two sons, Bill Paxton of Hurst and Phillip Paxton of Smithfield. No funeral is scheduled. Burial: Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va. Arrangements: Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen, Ark.
Does anyone have any connections to his Paxton? This is my uncle's obit and I have hit a brick wall researching this branch of the family tree.
