Hello list.......I found some information on Rootsweb--Washington Co., PA that included: a photo of-----"PAXTON, Robert F. Sr., CDV, Studio unknown. Found in Powell, Ohio on 31 Dec. 1995." I have no idea of the approximate date of the photo. I did not see this name in the Paxton book. Maybe this will help someone out there. The photo is for sale by Ford & Nagle: http://users.erinet.con/31363/fordand.htm to see the list they have and to find out how to buy. Ford & Nagle appear to be buying old photos with names on them from the Ohio and Michigan areas, along with other genealogical objects and listing them on their website. The person listing the information said she had dealt with them and was completely satisfied. I am in the process of buying one of their photos at the present time---so I do not have any comment one way or the other until I receive the photo. Also, I do NOT have any connection to Ford and Nagle--just an interest in what they have for sale. Sue

There is also a listing for: PAXTON, William of Savannah, Ohio; CDV taken by W.L. Edwards, Ashland, Ohio; found Norwich, Ohio 06 Jan 1996. Although I don't see why or how Mr. Payne got himself between two Paxtons, but there it is. John P. McWilliams, Jr. -of the "Dwight, Illinois clan" Researching: McWILLIAMS, CARROTT, Weagley, Latimer, Paxton, and Nixon, mostly in Ohio and Illinois from about 1780.
