Hello, I am trying to find the parents of John S Paxton Jr who was in DC and married Hannah Barrow/Burroughs in 1837. He was born in MD about 8 June 1814. I am wondering if he was maybe from Fredrick or Carroll county. Can anyone help? I found a John who was age 71 in the 1850 census in Carroll county, but I can not find out who his children were.
