Paxton Wednesday, March 22, 2000 FILLMORE-/B Gordon "Jerry" H. Paxton 72 of Fillmore, Utah passed away Friday, March 17, 2000 at his home. He was born April 26, 1927 in Hawbush, Utah to Uriel A. and Della Hutchings Paxton. He married Betty Rae Broderick, July 14, 1948 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Later divorced. Jerry was a veteran of the Navy in World War II. A member of The LDS Church. He is survived by his children, Lana Strasburg of Burlingame, CA; Greg (Jean) Paxton of West Jordan, UT; three grandchildren; sister, Margaret Warner of Salt Lake City, UT; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by two brothers, Ellsworth and Garn. Graveside Services will be held Friday, March 24, 2000 in the Fillmore City Cemetery at 2 p.m. under the direction of Olpin Mortuary of Fillmore.
