    3. Hi, Gary, I am also a descendant of Aaron Paxton of Adams and Cumberland Counties. He was my gr-gr-gr-grandfather. So far, I have not been able to discover much about his family of origin but he was definitely in Menallen Twp in 1850 with wife, Hannah Group, and children. We have another cousin, Craig Paxton, who lives in Adams County and is attempting to locate information on Aaron's parents and the family in general in that area. Aaron Paxton was the father of Sarah E. Paxton who married George W. Miller of Menallen Twp. Sarah and George are the parents of Flora B. Miller, my paternal great-grandmother. Do you know what regiment Aaron served in? He is buried at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Adams County. So far, we have not made the connection to the Marsh Creek Paxtons but he was most likely one of that family. Welcome to the group and will be glad to share any information I have on his descendants through Flora.
