Hi, I am seeking information on William Paxton born 1818, christened 21.2.1819 Claydon, Oxford. William died 1.9.1893 at his residence 31 Palmeira Square, Hove. Paxton married Mary Ann Cowper in 1843 and they had 11 children - at least 4 of whom died quite young. William Paxton travelled to Adelaide, South Australia in 1840 and soon became very involved in the development of the city. He was a chemist and also had real estate and mining interests. He made a trip to England in 1843 to marry but then returned permanently to England in 1855. Any help would be appreciated. Kind regards, Sue
