Hi all you Paxton researchers. I am researching Thomas P. Paxton m. to Sarah Berryman Monroe, daughter of Andrew Birch Monroe, son of John Monroe and Winefred Berryman. Thomas was born in 1828 probably in Rockbridge Co. Va. and who settled in Ky. He died in 1883. I have really had a hard time finding much information about him. He was my husband's great grandfather. My research goal is to learn his Tribe (suspect Cherokee) and whether he had tribal affiliation.
