I just began researching my mother's line. She was Nona Paxton who married Henry Lawson in 1919. Her parents were James Paxton and Nettie Lawson. James died 1940 in Letcher Co, KY and Nettie died 1927 in KY. I have heard that James had no siblings and descended from one of two Paxton brothers who landed in New York and were separated. One brother ended up in Hawkins, TN and became the father of James and I don't know what happened to the other brother. I would appreciate any information I can get. Virginia
