Lisa, I don't know if we're relatives or not & I don't have much information on the PAXTON's. As far as I can tell my line came from New York to South Dakota. Does this mean anything to you? My great great grandfather's name was Henry Paxton, as far as I know at this writing he came from Potsdam, New York & migrated west to Athol, South Dakota with his family. The only child of his that I know anything about is George Barney Paxton who was my great grandfather, he was born in Potsdam, New York in 1856. George Barney married Jessie May Spencer in 1883 in Waterman, IL. I have a list of his children that I got from my grandfather George Henry Paxton who was born in 1899, in Athol, South Dakota & migrated to Illinois, I'm not sure why. My grandfather George Henry had two children, one of which was my father, Lewis Alfred Paxton who was born in 1924 in Adair, IL the other child was a girl. I have one brother Michael Lynn Paxton who was born in 1949 in Avon, IL. Michael has one son & two daughters. Jeremy Lewis Paxton was born in 1981, in Davenport, Iowa. Jeremy is my nephew & the next to carry on the PAXTON name from my line away. That's all I know except for a few dates, if this means anything to you let me know. Sue
