I am looking for various branches of my family who lived in Northmoreland Twp, Wyoming Co Pa.#1. Joseph Jackson family, came from Great Barrington, Ma around 1823 to Northmoreland Twp. Im trying to verify Joseph's place of birth which according to family records was 23 April 1769 in Granville, Ma , his wife was Margaret French born in Attleboro Ma, 5 of his 8 Children came with him to PA. They are Olive dob 13 April 1795 in Poultney, Vt marriet Peter Montross in Luzerne Co (now wyoming co), Henry dob 20 Jan 1800 in Onondaga Co. Manlius, NY, married Lef Barton,not sure where (need information on her family). Alonzo dob 29 Aug 1802 in Pompey, NY(my G/G/Grandfather, married Mary(Polly) Ware,in Northmoreland Twp. Margaret(Mary) dob 14 April 1806 Great Barrington, Ma married James Besteder,in Northmoreland Twp. Mark Jackson dob 24 Aug 1810 Great Barrington MA married Katie Newberry, in Northmoreland Twp. His additional 3 sons as far as I can find out did not come to Pa with the other members of their family. Think they settled in or around Clarence NY, they are Alpha dob 1601 in W. Stockbridge, Ma married (I believe)Chloe King from Great Barrington,MA,William Jackson dob 13 April 1795 born Poultney Vt my research so far is that he married Mary Ann Havens probably from Newstead NY, and George dob 20 Jan 1860 in Manlius NY no information on his wife and family.
