I think it is up to each researcher to verify anything and everything they get off the internet. I have found family members on the internet but I always verify the information. At least it gives me a clue as to where to look. I never take anything as factual. I check it out. It is the same with the IGI or the Ancestral Files at LDS Family History Centers.
