John Patterson OSTERHOUT b. 8 May 1826 La Grange, Wyoming county, Pennsylvania, married 23 February, 1859 to Junia M. Roberts b. 12 November, 1834 Falls, Wyoming county, Pennsylvania. She was daughter of Henry Roberts and Nancy Wilson. This couple moved to Texas in 1851 and settled in Austin county, then to Bell county in 1870. This bible follows the line of his son, John Jeremiah Osterhout b. 9 December 1865 in Bellville, Austin county, who married Mary Lizzie Prater b. 1 January, 1869 in Tennessee.
