Thank-you for your time, Sheri Yates > >-------------------------------- Sheri, Walls Corner is a place name south of Factoryville & east of Dalton. You can locate it on the US Geographical Names Information System at: http://www-nmd.usgs.gov/www/gnis/gnisform.html or go directly to: http://mapping.usgs.gov:8888/gnis/owa/MapServer?f_name=Walls+Corners&f_state =PA&f_latlong=413220N0754720W&f_ht=.0625&f_type=ppl&server=TIGER Walls Corners is just east of the Lackawanna & Wyoming County Line. It appears on the 7.5 minute series topo map Factoryville Quadrangle. It is in West Abington Township. Take Bank St west (or R) out of Dalton. Go thru the 4 corners where Bank crosses Pond Rd. Bank St becomes West Abington Rd. At next 4 corners turn L onto Seminary Rd. Walls Corners is probably a 1/4 to a 1/2 mile down Seminary Rd. There is an unnamed cemetery marked on the topo map just off of Stanton Town Rd which is the last L just before the county line, only a few hundred feet further down the road from Walls Corners. The cemetery should be no more that 500 feet down this road from the corner on your R. At least that what the map says. (Hint: Seminary Rd. continues on to Lake Winola) Happy hunting.
