Farr Hollow along the crossroad from Jenningsville to forkston probably so named because at one time families by the name of Farr lived there. One family is believed to have settled there in the early 1700s The Townline road separates the townshops of Whinhamand Forkston. therefore a part of Farr Hollow is located in each townshp. At this time there are 16 families in farr hollow wiit only four of them living in Windham Township. They are as follows The Warren Goodwins, Randy Robinshon, Phillip Goodwins and Ralph Inmans. Mr and Mrs Warren Goodwin are the 5th generation on the farm where they reside. The first owners were George and Philinda Kasson Allen, Mr Allen cleared the land built the buildings and in time left it to his son-in-law and daughter. VanRanslear and Irene Allen Robinson, he leaving it to his son George Robinson whose wife was Laura Drake, daughter of Lewis and Rosetta Strayer Drake. The farm then went to their son Lewis Robinbson who married Mary Stevens, daughter of John and Lucy Hope Stevens. Their children were Barbara, Bernice, Allen, Carmon, Lewis, Rosemary, John, Ira, Randy, and a dau Laura Lou who did 5 weeks of age. Bernice Robinson married Warren Goodwin, son of Charles and Grace Kithcart Goodwin. Their Phillip Goodwin and family resided in one of the houses on the farm making the outlook good for this land becoming a 6 generation farm. Randy robinson and faily live in the third house on the farm. The next house and lot was owned by Mrs Abby Stone in 1900. Others who have owned it since that time are George Robinson, Rodney Lewis, Raymond Stone, Walter and Eva Inman. Walter died died January 8, 1960 Eva later married George Bushnell and he is the oldest resident of Farr Hollow at this time. Mr. Bushnell is 98 years old born July 4, 1879. Eva was born in Corkesburg NJ Dec 24, 1900 dau of Mr and Mrs Fred Horton
