Hi there. When you make a copy, it goes to a place called the Clipboard which you don't see. It is just somewhere on your computer or maybe in the mouse! So you save the file, X out of Family Tree Maker, go to NotePad or WordPad , then to your Edit menu on your computer and when you have the blank page in front of you, you click on paste in the Edit menu. What you copied from FTM will then appear on that NotePad or WordPad! Trust me. It works.
