I am researching the surname AGNEW. My great aunt Bessie Agnew was the Postmaster at Falls PA for many years. Her brother, Frank Allen Agnew lived in Tunkhannock for many years. He was my dad's father. I was raised in Sayre Pa. in Bradford Co, but I remember my many trips as a child on the Lehigh Valley RR to Tunkhannock. I think it is the most beautiful little town! Maybe it was the hilly streets lined with trees. I have traced my branch of the Agnew family tree back to Michael Agnew 1803-1880 and Elizabeth Kyser 1807-1892. Can't get back beyond that.
