Cyrus Thompson an old and respected resident of Windham was born in Chenango Co NY in 1806 He married Dolly Shepardson of the same county on September 8, 1828. From 1830 he lived in Bradford and Wyoming Counties, settling in Windham Township in 1853 His principal occupation was manufacturing lumber and shingles in 1880 he was engaged in the bee business.
