Phyllis, There are a number of Mock's listed in the phone book for Evans Falls, Noxen. A Charlotte Mock at Evans Falls, (570)-298-2169 may be able to help you. As for Root's, I knew a Ruth Root who lived at Beaumont and had two children - son Floyd and daughter Hilda. There is a Floyd Root listed for Noxen -(570)-639-1949 who may be Ruth's son. Ruth is deceased. I also knew a family of Mensch, Dennis and Doris who had two children, girls. They moved to Harding, PA in the early 70's and subsequently moved to Alaska in the early 80's. Dennis is deceased now - sometime around 1988 I believe it was after my first husband died. Dennis and Doris came from the Nescopeck, Mifflinville area. I don't know where Doris is at present.
