I have been searching for any information on these families for over 2 year so "anything" you may have would be greatly appreciated. My grandfather, Carl Abraham SCHULTHEIS was born in 1903 in Lackawanna Co, PA and supposedly lived in Ransom Twsp. I have been told that his mother Carrie BEDELLA/BEDELL SCHULTHEIS died in 1915 from diabetes. His father William SCHULTHEIS, supposedly died in 1920. He married a Mildred Lena BAKER in the mid 1920s and shortly thereafter moved to FL never to go back to PA. Her parents were "supposedly" Stephen Burt BAKER and Flora Ellen SIMPKINS. Don't have any dates on them. I have obtained death certificates and SSN applications and they seem to support all the above information. Also have an insurance application that was filled out in 1929 that says much of the same (that is where I got the Ransom Twsp and the mother and father death dates). I have researched the soundex for 1910 and 1920 and none of the 4 surnames (SCHULTHEIS, BAKER, BEDELL, SIMPKINS) seem to be listed with the correct age and first names. I have not looked at the entire mircofilm because it is 4-5 rolls and that would take a while. I look forward to hearing from anyone. Chris Schultheis
