He married Elizabeth CARPENTER about 1834-35 in PA, NJ or NY. I believe she is the Daughter of John CARPENTER of Orange County, NY. Children are: 1. William Henry, born 8-22-1836, Sussex County, NJ; died 9-8-1898, Plymouth, Luzerne County, PA. Married Jemima BROWN circa 1868. 2. James Thompson, born 9-28-1840; died 6-22-1928, Terrytown, Bradford County, PA. Married Harriet WILLIAMS, circa 1867. 3. Edward, born ca. 1843; moved to Franklin Twp, Luzerne County for 1880 census, then I've lost him. Married Henrietta DURLAND 10-4-1869 4.
