First Wyoming County was not created until the mid 1800. If I am not mistaken it was part of Luzerne County during the time period of your search. There are three cemeteries in what is now Wyoming County, one was the Carpenter Cemetery which would not interest you, the first qand earlist cemetery was Flat Top Cemetery and the most predominant, which is located on Reynolds St in Factoryville, is the Evergreen-Woodlawn Cemetery. As for listings of those located in this cemeteries, there is a good webpage at: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~thstiger/WYOCOCEM.htm As for the Rice family, they did in fact live in this area and the Pennsylvania National Guard unit was the E.J.Rice, Post No. 211. Good luck in your search, Jack
