I have a small hand written diary for the year of 1864 that belonged to Miss Mollie Hetfield of Centermoreland PA. 1. I know that the village of Orange, Luzerne county was once called Pincherville. Does any one know another Town in Northmoreland,Monroe or Frankling township or those vicinities that was formerly or is now called Pincherville? 2. does any one know what apple-cuting is she refers to it like a party. i.e. " Jane Hetfield called to invite us to an apple cut.
