Lewis was born in about 1812 in Pennsylvania, and married Eliza Allis who was born about 1814,her parents were Eleazer and Esther (Rutty)Allis of Bradford Co, Pennsylvania. Lewis and Eliza had a daughter,Valetta Thayer, born abt March 1839, and passed away Sept 15,1841 in Orwell,Bradford Co.Pennsylvania, and is buried in Allis Hollow there. they possibly moved to Wyoming Co. as my great-grandfather Corydon E. Thayer,was born June 26,1843 in Braintrim, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania and then another son Oscar Thayer,born 1844 in Pennsylvania, and possibly also in Braintrim, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania as they are listed there in the 1850 Census. Any information on this family, especially Lewis's his parnets would be very helpful. Don't know who his parents are. I know the Allis-Rutty-and Lent families are connected.Thank you. Bette
