Thanks for asking, my ancestors are Robert Campbell (abt. 1798-1827) and his wife Jemima Turney 1802-1885. Searching for Campbells in general is frustrating but the early dates makes it impossible. I also received a suggestion that I might want to look in VA as well. My own personal brick wall! THANKS SO MUCH! But when I pursued that it was a dead end. So I found a Westland on Google maps in Washington County but I'm not sure it is a real place. Could Westland also be short for Westmoreland? On the same report, his wife is listed as coming from "Greensboro, Westnd" Could they both be from Westmoreland around 1800? > > This has been a wild goose chase that is years in the making.
