I am also looking for information about my gg grandfather, William Potter McMillan who was born in Westmoreland Co, PA in 1827. I cannot find any info about any parents or siblings; or where he may have lived. Just know he was born there, and attended the Western College of PA in Pittsburgh. I have and English guide he bought in Pittsburgh in 1847. I've found info in Iowa, but PA is pretty much a dead end for me. Haven't found him on any Pa census yet. Any suggestions?   Thank you considerations of this request.
