Hi Bettye, I've checked my paper files and I don't have a James Leech married to Jane White. If you find an answer, could you post it on this site. Thank you. According to their descendants, Martha A. White was born in Westmoreland Co PA on 2 May, 1816. Her sister, Jane, was supposedly born in the 1818-1819 time frame. Names of parents are unknown. Martha A White married Hamilton Jefferson Rog(d)gers in Georgetown, Beaver Co PA about 1837. Jane White married James Leech about 1840. No marriage records found for them. They removed to the Pittsburg area of Allegheny Co, PA probably before 1850. I believe that James and Jane White Leech are the family listed on the 1860 Birmingham, Allegheny Co PA census on pg 111. Hamilton J Rogers was an alderman there, he enlisted to serve in the Civil War. Martha died while he was gone He came home and died in 1863. I hope that someone has data on a White family that includes the above Martha and Jane. They probably had other siblings but they are not known to me.
