    2. My "baby" brother, Harley Joe (Cowboy) Drake died on Thursday, 5 April 2012 in Jefferson HIlls, PA at the Jefferson HIlls Medical Center. He was born in Smithdale, Elizabeth Twp., Allegheny Co., PA. He attended grade school in Henryetta, OK and middle and high school in West Newton, PA. He played baseball with the West Newton team. He enlisted in the U S Marines for 4 years and served in the Philippines. He married Eileen Dainty in Sutersville and they had 1 child, Wendy. They lived in Sutersville most of their married life. Harley's emigrant ancestors were Richard and Thomazina Drake, 1668 to Isle of Wight, Colonial Virginia and Johannes Conrad and Susannah Nagel Mohr to Lebanon Co., PA, 1807. His grandparents were William Joe and Laura Arkanzada Hasty Drake of Choctaw Nation, 5 Civilized Tribes, Indian Territory and Harry S. and Ida Sholey Moore of Bradenville and West Newton, PA. His great grandparents were Thomas and Sarah Smith Drake of Tenn. and Indiana and James and Elizabeth Tomes Moore of Chestnut Ridge, Westmoreland Co., PA Obituary from Pittsburgh Tribune Review. Harley J. Drake Sutersville Harley J. "Joe" Drake, 73, of Sutersville, died Thursday, April 5, 2012, in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was born Oct. 29, 1938, in Smithdale, a son of the late Harley and Mary (Moore) Drake. Prior to retirement, he was employed by U.S. Steel National Tube of McKeesport and Hempfield Manor, Greensburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Harry Ray. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Eileen (Dainty) Drake; a daughter, Wendy Marie Drake Rotonto and her husband, Paul; a sister, Shirley Maynard and her husband, Bill; and a number of nieces and nephews.
