Many thanks to the individuals who photographed our cemeteries. I couldn’t see how to “comment” on the individual pics. So here they are. Number 11 of 50 at the First Baptist Church at Jacobs Creek is labeled “Peter unknown”. The stone says “ PETER MARMIE CO B 142 PA VOL INF APRIL 20 1913”. This is the third “Peter Marmie”, born in 1842 . In the East Salem Cemetery is the stone for Sarah Marmie, an infant of three years. She died on October 16, 1840, 90 years to the day of the birth of her grandfather, Pierre Bertrand Marmié, a/k/a Peter Marmie ( the first). Allen D. McCrady
