Bick, 87, of Latrobe, died Monday, April 7, 2003, in his home. He was born June 6, 1915, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late John J. and Mary "Lena" Bick. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and was retired from Kennametal in Latrobe. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a member of American Legion Post 515 and a lifetime member of the Kingston and Veterans Sportsmen's Association. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John W. Bick. Surviving are his wife, Dora J. (Rau) Bick; two sons, Ronald J. Bick and wife, Linda, of Jeannette and John R. Bick and wife, Cheryl, of Latrobe; and two grandchildren, Amy Bick and Jason J. Bick and wife, Jennifer. Friends will be received Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. Service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church with the Trinity Lutheran clergy officiating. Interment is private. She was a member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward R. Bick; and two sisters, Elizabeth Steffen and Rebecca Smith. She is survived by a son, Edward J. Bick and his wife, Mary Lou, of Greensburg; two daughters, Rebecca Bick of Greensburg and Mrs. Timothy (Susan) Lundy of Verona, Pa.; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Ryan and Nicole; a great-grandchild, Julia; and a sister, Mildred June Ridgeley of Springdale, Pa. Friends will be received in the FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Latrobe.
