I recently saw an article about Monessen Historical society and from what I read they would like to help other local town's with their history. I hope they look into Fayette City. I just went throught the town and saw a building up for sale on the 2n'd street and thought what a great place for a historical society WISHFUL THINKING !!! I like to know about joining the Monessen Historical society I wish our local town's had their own Historical Society's, for maybe a young people would get more involved with GENEALOGY.
