Hello, From a newspaper blurb about a wedding in 1909, I learned that the bride, Olive J Hess, did some "cover" designs for George Levy's Pittsburgh paper, the Spectator . From looking into this a bit, I have learned "In February 1930, The Index merged with The Bulletin and became The Bulletin Index. In 1931, the Spectator ("Pittsburgh's smart magazine") and the Western Pennsylvania Golfer were incorporated into The Bulletin Index." And eventually by about 1950 the newspaper no longer existed. I realize that Pittsburgh isn't in Westmoreland and if any lister has any suggestions on where I might look to see if there are archives for this newspaper/magazine, that would be great!
